Local Musician: Matt
This is Matt, a local resident in the Haight-Ashbury district. He is playing his drum out on the street for two reasons. The first is that he just likes to play the drums and “it seemed like a nice day to play outside”. Another reason he is out here is to make a little cash. He told us that because of the way the economy is right now that he has had some problems with his work situation. So playing for him is twofold: it is somewhat therapeutic and he could possibly make some money while he’s doing it.
